Welcome to ScandiXplore. By accessing our website and booking an experience through ScandiXplore, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. About ScandiXplore

ScandiXplore is a curated platform offering immersive travel experiences, photography journeys, interactive city games and private, custom-designed experiences. Some experiences are operated directly by ScandiXplore, while others are delivered by carefully selected local partners.

ScandiXplore acts as:

  • An experience designer and curator
  • A booking platform via Bokun
  • A collaborator with local guides, creatives and operators


2. Scope of Services

ScandiXplore provides:

  • Guided and self-guided experiences
  • Photography experiences (founder-led and partner-led)
  • Interactive city games
  • Nature and outdoor adventures
  • Cultural and heritage experiences
  • Private and custom-designed journeys

Availability, content and format vary by destination and partner.


3. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are processed through our booking system (Bokun) or via direct agreement for custom experiences.

By making a booking, you agree that:

  • You are legally authorised to make the booking.
  • All information provided is accurate and complete.
  • You accept the specific terms of the experience provider where applicable.

Payment methods, currencies and conditions are shown at checkout.


4. Partner Experiences

Some experiences listed on ScandiXplore are operated by third-party partners.

In these cases:

  • ScandiXplore acts as a curator and intermediary
  • The partner is responsible for the delivery of the experience
  • Local laws, regulations and safety standards of the operating country apply

ScandiXplore carefully selects partners but is not responsible for acts, omissions or changes made by third-party providers beyond our control.


5. Private & Custom Experiences

Private, custom-designed experiences are created specifically for you based on your preferences, availability, and local conditions.

By requesting a private experience, you acknowledge that:

  • Routes, activities and schedules may change due to weather, safety, access, or logistics
  • Some elements depend on third-party availability
  • Final details are confirmed before booking

Custom experiences may have different cancellation terms, which will be clearly communicated.


6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by experience and are displayed at the time of booking.

In general:

  • Cancellations made within the allowed period receive a refund as per the experience policy
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be non-refundable
  • Some partners have stricter conditions

For private/custom experiences, specific terms will be agreed upon individually.


7. Changes & Modifications

ScandiXplore reserves the right to:

  • Modify itineraries when necessary for safety, weather, access or operational reasons
  • Replace activities or locations with equivalent alternatives if required

We always aim to maintain the quality and intention of the experience.


8. Photography & Media

Some experiences include photography services.

By participating, you agree that:

  • Photos may be taken during the experience
  • You grant ScandiXplore permission to use images for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing
  • You retain personal usage rights to your images

If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us in advance.


9. Responsibility & Risk

Travel and outdoor activities involve inherent risks.

By booking with ScandiXplore, you acknowledge that:

  • You participate at your own risk
  • You are responsible for your own health, fitness and suitability
  • You must follow the instructions given by guides and partners

ScandiXplore is not liable for:

  • Personal injury, illness or accidents
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Delays caused by weather, transport, or third parties


10. Sustainability & Tree-Nation

ScandiXplore is committed to responsible travel.

For every booking, a tree is planted through Tree-Nation as part of our sustainability initiative.
 Tree planting is a contribution and does not represent carbon offset certification unless explicitly stated.


11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, branding and design, is the property of ScandiXplore unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce or use content without written permission.


12. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to access restricted areas
  • Misuse of content or booking systems

We reserve the right to restrict access if misuse is detected.


13. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws (GDPR).

14. Limitation of Liability

 Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
